The Role of State in The process of Resocialization of The Convict

Abstract:

The purpose of the article is to outline and analyze the obligations of the state, which it owes to it as a legal, social and democratic country in the process of resocialization of the convict. In addition, the paper evaluated and analyzed the theoretical, practical and normative aspects of resocialization, its relationship to other purposes of punishment. Also, understanding the purpose of this particular sentence from an economic point of view, as for a country with a small economy as Georgia, it is important to achieve the resocialization of the convict using minimal human and monetary resources. The paper once again, sharply and actively revealed the importance of criminology for resocialization of the convict, since through criminology it is possible to understand the nature of the crime, the identity of the perpetrator, the provocative circumstances of the crime and taking into account all of the above, the basic means of effective resocialization and rehabilitation programs should be determined individually for the convicts tailored to their needs.

Due to the momentousness  of the research topic, the research uses review and formal-logical methods, which allow to systematically and substantively assess the current problems of the research topic.

Within the framework of the research, the existing gaps in the Georgian legislation in terms of resocialization were revealed. The obligations of the democratic, social and legal state in this regard were clearly defined. The importance of the issue of economics of law at any stage of law enforcement was highlighted and the importance of criminology as a science in the process of resocialization was repeatedly emphasized.
